How to Stop the Percentage from Being Spoken When in a Chat Room

This step-by-step is for Jaws users only.

1. While in the chat client, Press insert-6.
2. Press enter to accept the name of the Jaws configuration file.
3. Press alt-S to go to “set options”.
4. Press enter on the first option “user Options”.
5. Press up arrow until you hear “off”.
6. Press shift-tab until you get to the OK button and press enter.
7. Press ctrl-S to save the configuration file.
8. Press alt-F4 to exit the Jaws configuration program.
